[Guide] Ascending Units Effectively

Hi guys, Rykuz here with a new guide, this time one about  ascending units effectively!

About 1*'s and 2*'s

Just sell them, not worth having them around, neither for ascending nor either for fighting, cause your goal in this game is to have a party of 5*'s, or at least 4*'s.

Feeding 1*'s and 2*'s to 3*'s or higher

Wrooooong! Please, never do this, cause u ask, cause first, it will cost you alot of money, and besides, the exp gained is minimal, so dont do it.

Should I feed my 3* or 4* to 5*?

I suggest you to feed as many 3*'s and 4*'s units as you can AFTER you have fully ascended the 4* or the 3* unit, this before feeding them to a 4* or 5*. Now here's the reason why you should do that. When you fully max a unit you'll receive free spirit orbs as a reward.

5* Units (Max Level 100) = 50 Orbs
4* Units (Max Level 70) = 35 Orbs
3* Units (Max Level 60) = 25 Orbs
2* Units (Max Level 50) = 10 Orbs
1* Units (Max Level 40) = 5 Orbs

Medals

When you fully max a unit to his max level, they will gain a little medal, showed on the superior right corner, like in this picture.
You can only get orbs ONCE per card but they do have different types for the same characters of the same rank (example: Red 3* Ichigo and Purple 3* Ichigo). So if you max a 3* red type Ichigo and get 25 Orbs then you won't be able to get another 25 orbs by maxing him again, so if you happen to get more after maxing him, feed that card to either 4* Ichigo or 5* Ichigo for unit bonus exp.

How to get lot of 4*?

This game will constantly be having new events where you can farm 3* or 4* units offered to farm. By farming the 4* units you will have plenty to feed to your 5* units. But also try to max the farmable 4* units from the event first before feeding them to your 5* units. You can always farm five of the 4* units in order to ascend their level cap to max and feed the rest to your desired 5* unit.

People actually max out 1* & 2* because it doesn't take long. Then you get orbs you didn't have before, and at the end game, you're basically rich on gold if you keep playing. I know extol & a few others on reddit maxed all the 1* & 2*. Extol still has like 1mil+ coins/gold. Nice guide, I'm not telling you to change it but I'm just saying people do it & that it can be something you do after you finish all the story. Plus you get a nice medal for your collection

Then just ascend them with another 1*\2* of that same character to make it an instant ascend, efficient. You could also add that if you ascend by using the same card you main is, that'd be more effiencent on the post in general. Oh, and that you get a bonus if you use the same character to ascend even if it's not the same rarity, if you don't have the specific card to ascend instantly. No problem!

It actually only cost like 5k gold or less to max out a 1-2 star character using duplicates. Highly recommended. Free orbs! Haha. And the remaining 2 stars you get along the way can be used to ascend 3 stars as well, they're pretty worth it. Don't sell them! The only ones you should selling are 1 stars AFTER you already maxed them. Hope this helps!

the 1 and 2 stars i wouldnt sell them, i would use them as materials cause getting gold in this game shouldnt be that hard.
On a weekend you should be able to hit 200k of gold easily.

If you say its hard, its because your not playing hard enough

This is mostly for people who are starting on the game, early its hard to farm, whats youre saying is for people who already have a great party and are mid/late game already, but again, each person has his point of view things

Even in the start i think should save for character for acension.
For beginners who were unlucky enough to only have renji as their 5 star like me, should focus on him getting maxxed out. It did take a while cause farming on low level characters are very hard but once you unlock lvl 100 then its easy street from there on, set him on auto and let him farm the stages for you

Thx for the guid it really helped me out a lot. Before now I was feeding all my characters to my five stars before maxing.

I just started playing yesterday. I really appreciate this guide and all the info but would like to mention I have not put any irl cash into this game and really only get gold from the orders(soul phone icon) yet even with constant xp buffs and always feeding my 1's 2's and 3's to my 4's and 5's, i still stay at 350k at my lowest, early game is actually very easy to accumulate early gold if you stick to the order's.

Can any character be Ascended to 5 or 6 stars? How do I know if a character is capable of being ascended to 5 or 6 stars?
E.g. 4 star Byakuya to 5 star.
